Antonio Francesco Di Naro is company Founder & President. He graduated in chemistry and pharmaceutical technologies from University of Milan and can boast more than 20 years’ experience in the development of orphan drugs from research to commercialization. During his professional activity he developed two transplantation products (Thymoglobuline and Celsior). He began his career as a researcher at the Pharmacology Laboratory of Research Institute Mario Negri, Milan (Italy). In 1992 he joined Janssen Pharmaceutical Spa (Italy) where he was employed as a sales manager. In 1994 he moved to Pasteur Mérieux S.r.l. (Italy) where he worked as general manager and from 1996 to 1998 was in charge as general manager as well at IMTIX (Italy) and Corporate Director South Europe at IMTIX (France). In 1998 he joined SangStat, where he held different positions (CEO and general manager, vice president Europe and International). In 2003 he was appointed vice president Europe and International of Genzyme and a year later he decided to create his own company, ADIENNE.
